ELIGIBILITY: OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES OR DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND OF THE DATE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE. Employees, officers and directors of Luxottica Retail North America, Inc., d.b.a. Target Optical, 4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040 ("Sponsor"), its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters/suppliers and their IRS dependents and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household (whether or not related), are not eligible to participate. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Void outside the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

1. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: The See Your Potential 1-Day Target Optical Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on July 5, 2012 (the "Start Date") and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on August 25, 2012 (the "End Date"). Enter for a chance to win the daily sweepstakes; one Target GiftCard® will be given away every day during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries for that day's prize must be received by 11:59 P.M. ET that day. The next day's sweepstakes begins at 12:01 A.M. ET. You may enter the sweepstakes one time during each 24-hour time frame (each daily sweepstakes is a separate drawing and must be entered separately. Multiple entries for a single prize will be disqualified.
2. TO ENTER: To enter the sweepstakes, visit www.Target.com/optical ("Website") and click on the Sweepstakes icon, banner, or text link(s) and follow the online instructions to register for the Sweepstakes. You will be asked to complete a short survey, which is optional, and provide the following information: complete name, address, phone number, and e-mail address to enter the Sweepstake. This Promotion may be shared with a friend through other social media sites. If you would like to share with a friend, please click ¬Sharethis. No other forms of participation are valid. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the allowed number of entries by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant will be disqualified. Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes. No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
3. RANDOM DRAWINGS:Prize winners will be selected for each daily entry in a random drawing to be held after each 24 hour entry period, from all eligible entries received during each of the respective 24 hour entry periods. Entries will not carry forward to subsequent Entry Period drawings. The random drawing will be conducted by an independent judging agency whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Prize winners will be notified by phone, e-mail and/or mail at Sponsor's sole discretion. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize, but Sponsor reserves right to substitute prize with prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges.
4. PRIZES/ODDS:One (1) Target GiftCard® (the "Prize") will be awarded to fifty-two (52) winners. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each prize is $50 GiftCard® may be redeemed at any Target retail location or at Target.com. Target GiftCard® can only be used for future purchases at Target retail locations or for online purchases at Target.com but CANNOT be used to pay already established credit balances. Target GiftCard® may be used to pay online shipping charges, gift wrap, and/or taxes on purchases; and any remaining balance after any use will remain on the Target GiftCard®.
   
   Expenses not stated are solely the winner's responsibility. If a winner cannot accept prize in accordance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner may be chosen. The ARV of any prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price of a prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Total ARV of all prizes: $2,600. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrant agrees (a) that Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, successors and assigns are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against any liability for any injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind to person(s), including without limitation, personal injury and/or death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's preparation for, travel to or participation in Sweepstakes, or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in any Sweepstakes related or travel related activities and for claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery and (b) except where legally prohibited, winner grants (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under its authority the right to the use of his/her name, address (city and state), picture, portrait, likeness, voice, biographical information and/or statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without notice, review or approval. If any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. 6. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered entries or e-mail; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes or otherwise attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the Website. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes, and select the winners from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, and assume no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of this Website.
   
   In no event will Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, their advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, representative and agents be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your access to and use of the website or downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from said website. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on this website is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
