Rated 3 out of 5 by from RayBan Prescription Sun Glasses I love my sunglasses but I when I ordered them I thought I would be getting the brown gradient lenses. They were very expensive lenses and prescription. I was not told I could not get the gradient lenses in prescription even though you can on the Ray Ban website. I was also given gray lenses when they arrived instead of brown lenses. I would have probably bought different glasses had I know I wasn't getting what I tried on in the store and my order was messed up. They offered to fix this but I thought plain brown lenses would be worse than the gray. I would probably only order prescription sunglasses from Ray Ban's website from now on so I know what I am getting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Fantastic fit, great lenses, lightweight (compared to all-metal aviators), love the color gradation. Incredible quality. The carbon-fiber arms seem to be very durable. They grip your head just right, but have plenty of flexibility, allowing you to easily remove the glasses with one hand. I especially like the hinges, which appear to be able to last for a lifetime without looking too bulky and over-engineered. I don't have any problems with the rubberized ends of the arms catching in my hair, but then I'm a man with short hair. Probably a long hair issue, because I haven't noticed any 'catching' at all. Overall, extraordinarily happy with my RB8301s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pair of glasses Ive owned!! These glasses are by far the best Ive ever had the pleasure of wearing. I love Ray-Bands classic wayfarers but these have me hooked! I have a rather large head and these accomidate the shape of my face perfectly. I have also have quite round cheeks, more so when i smile, and i found my self not having to worry about my cheeks pushing up the bottom of my glasses when I smile. They are aviators but they have a less pointed edge that helps with the cheek situation. Overall the quality of these glasses are phenomenal! The carbon fiber on the sides along with the padded tips at the end make them very comfortable! I would highly recommend these to a friend, or just anyone looking for a great pair of aviators!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Catering to Big Heads These sunglasses are absolutely amazing except for one minor problem. The temple length is just too long for the average joe. Ray Ban seems to be targeting people with big heads. I'm an average size guy with an average head. These just did not fit snug. The rubber ends helped, but when i compared them to sunglasses not made for people with big heads, they just didn't make the cut. Other than the over-size problem, they are the best non-polarized lenses i've seen. I love the carbon fiber arms too. I really wish they came in a slightly smaller bridge / temple size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Pair of Shades, BUT... Like other reviews these sunglasses are great and timeless, BUT the rubber pieces pull my hair out when taking them off. I figured I would still give them a try and found another review helpful. Put a dab of super glue at the end of each rubber piece (outside and inside of the arms) and no more hair pulling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Pair of Glasses These are one of the best pair of sunglasses that I own with fancy carbon fiber frames, and light to wear. I got many compliments wearing these glasses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome sunglasses! I love these glasses but have also run into the problem of the rubber piece pulling on my hair. The solution -- superglue :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing sunglasses except... I love these glasses, before I bought them I had wanted them for awhile. BUT after wearing them a few days I noticed that the small pads on the ends of the ear pieces catch my hair and rip it out EVERY time I take them off! It is driving me absolutely crazy! Im still going to wear them everyday though since I love everything else about them, but come on Ray Ban, nobody noticed something like this BEFORE making the ear pieces that way!?
